The T1 is a flexible non-Active power cord comprised of one high current Tricon and one T2 cable geometry. This cable has a fast and open sound, with wonderful mid-range bloom and low frequency control.

As a power cord for plasma and LCD, as well as projectors, the T1 represents near state-of-the-art performance with noticeable improvements to black point levels and greater detail in shaded areas, as well as improved color saturation and sharper detail. The T1 noticeably lowers noise and motion artifacts that plague LCD and plasma screens, especially when viewing standard definition broadcasts.

Since the T1 is non-Active, you have maximum flexibility when powering video sources where additional wires may be unwanted, or when additional outlets for an MPC power supply may be unavailable. The T1 represents the state-of-the-art for non-Active power cords when used on video monitors and projectors.

Options: The T1 is a 15-amp cord, and built with a special slim line finish that makes routing T1 Power Cords behind flat panel monitors and projectors as easily as stock power cords.

Active Shielding / Zero Reactive Capacitance: The T2 is an Active version of our T1 Power Cord, and offers significant improvements in sound stage air, layering, detail, and low frequency control and extension. Active Shielding decreases the noise floor for a blacker background. Fine inner detail and micro transients are greatly improved, along with overall smoothness and musicality. The T2 is a personal favorite of our lead designer, Ted Denney, as a pre amp power cord, and is used in our reference system along with Hologram A and Hologram D Power Cords. As always, system synergy is the goal, not merely purchasing the most expensive cable you can afford. As a power cord for video, the Active Shielded T2 presents a lower noise floor for cleaner images, with lower artifact levels when compared to the non-Active T1.

Active Shielding / Zero Reactive Capacitance: The T3 Active Power Cord is a high current variant of T2, with a special 4 conductor “T” Series geometry, and 2 high current Tricon geometries. T3 improves on our T2 as a high current power amplifier cable, delivering an enhanced holographic presence, with more air, and a seductive mid-range with a relaxed and musical balance. As a high resolution pre-amp / digital power cord, T3 has increased resolution and air due to its twin Tricon geometries when compared to T2. Combine T Series Power Cords In Your System: When voicing your system using Active T Series power cords, start with stock power cords on your digital components. Then place a T3 power cord on your amplifier(s), and compare T2 to T3 on your pre-amplifier. Finally, replace the stock power cord on your digital source (CD or DVD) and compare T3 to T2 powering your digital components. As you compare T2 to T3 power cords, you will notice differences in high frequency presentation as well as mid range bloom and soundstaging. At each juncture select the cable that sounds most musical to you before moving to the next level.

The Precision AC is the TESLA Power Cord that excels in pinpoint imaging, presenting images with a startling “you are there” precision. Used as an ultra high current amplifier power cord, the Precision AC is ideal for large tube amplifiers where balance tends toward large and fluid sound fields, lending enhanced control of image placement and layering, or with solid state amplifiers where balance is warm and layered.

Compared to T3, Precision AC has greater high frequency extension and air, with enhanced layering and precise pinpoint imaging. Compared to Hologram A, Precision AC is more pinpoint, while Hologram A illuminates the boundaries of a sound stage with a warmer balance. As a rule, always compare Precision AC to T3 or Hologram A when powering pre amplifiers and power amplifiers. When powering digital components, compare to Hologram D or T3. As always, select the cable that best complements your system.

Combining Precision AC and Hologram Power Cords in SOTA Systems: Our lead designer Ted Denney on design considerations that went into voicing the Hologram and Precision Series power cords.

“I designed the Hologram A and Precision AC cords as counterparts to my Hologram D. Used together they form a flexible power cord system that will complement a wide variety of components and acoustics. The Hologram D is a no compromise power cord for digital sources that presents resolution and ambient retrieval with a natural non-fatiguing analog sound and as such is the corner stone to my ultra high end power cord system.

Like many of my fellow audiophiles, I love the sound of analog playback and strive for the resolution and holographic presence I get from top-flight turntables, tonearms, and cartridges, when listening to digital playback. Sadly, most digital front ends are compromised by power cords and digital cables that sound either overly warm and hence veiled and spatially compressed, or thin and clinical lacking harmonic texture and presence.

I designed my Hologram D to enable digital sources to present detail in an enormous sound field that is liquid with abundant texture and layering. The Hologram D excels in illuminating the boundaries of a sound field by allowing a recording’s natural air and layering to come shining through in a decidedly non-digital way.

To create balance between my different power cords start with Hologram A or T3 on your preamplifier, with Hologram D on your digital components. While Precision AC is engineered and voiced to excel in pin-point imaging, Hologram A is engineered and voiced to combine pin-point imaging with harmonic richness and fluid illumination of a sound fields boundaries.
