The Thunderbolt Active SE is an outstanding product. The improvement is nothing short of amazing compared to the stock Apple cable.

Hello,
Does bāsik USB Active is the same than an USB Active SE but with included “Grey” circuit?
Thank you

Ulysse,
The short answer is “yes” however placing the Active Shielding circuit outboard from the cable carries additional performance gains aside from circuit options. Dollar for Dollar (or Euro for Euro) the standard USB Active is an exceptional value only bested by the more evolved and expensive SE version.
