Cool you finally released fuses. A year ago a friend of mine sent in fuses for you to QT and really liked the improvement. Question is there anything special about the construction of your fuses or are they simply standard fuses zapped on your Tesla Coil?
Also how can I audition these fuses in my system? I’ve got HiFi Tuning Supreme fuses on my digital components and pre-amp and I’d like to compare them to your new offerings. Do you feel your fuses can compete?

While we will not comment directly on how they perform against our competition, I can tell you we’ve performed extensive listening tests including direct comparisons to fuses from all major brands. This weekend I had the opportunity to try the new Synergistic Research fuses in my stereo system and also in my dedicated headphone system.
First I replaced an Isoclean fuse in my Art Audio PX-25 tube amp. Right out of the shipping container the Synergistic Research fuse was an improvement ( no need to wait for a 100 hour burn in). Detail improved, sound stage improved, and note decay quality was improved. I took the time to try the Isoclean and the SR fuse in both directions (for completeness sake). I did not hear a difference using the SR fuse in regards to which direction it was installed. It is impossible to quantitate music listening improvement, but this positive change was greater than all the tube rolling I have done with this amp.
Next I replaced the Furotech fuse in the Marantz Sa11-S2 (SA-CD) player. Listening to The Wes Montgomery Trio (SA-Cd) the music continued to improve . The harmonics from Wes’s guitar were much improved, Paul Parker’s drumming is mostly delicate brush work and this took a big leap in sonic satisfaction. Lastly the electric organ of Paul Parker was cleaner and the low bass pedal notes were richer without being tuby or wooly. Changing moods to Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon again demonstrated the improvements the SR fuses brought to my system. The change falling into the cash register at the start of “Money” is more real and complex. Again imaging and space sensation were better. I felt like someone had lent me the master tape to hear.
Switching to my headphone system: Sennheiser 800 headphones- Marantz SA11-S1 Sacd player- Eddy Current tube amplifier. Here the Isoclean fuse was removed from the amp and replaced with the SR fuse. Immediately the detail improved, the sound stage improved and my enjoyment of the music improved.
In both my systems I obtained significant improvement in my enjoyment of the music using the Synergistic Fuses versus the Isoclean, Furotech and stock fuses.

Further fuse investigations. Five weeks ago I compared the Synergistic Research fuses to the Isoclean and Furotech fuses at the power cord inlet. The SR fuse was clearly better with my SaCd player, tube amp with transformers, and a tube amp that does not use a transformer.
The Marantz Sa11-S2 SaCd player is considered a close offspring to the highly reguarded Sa-7 player. It has a lot of attention to isolation of noise and uses a lot of heavy copper in its construction. Taking the top off reveals six rail fuses ( 3 are 1.0 amp and 3 are 1.6 amp rated). What do SR fuse changes do at these locations? I was quite surprised at the improvement. That sensation of the music being reproduced is gone. What a treat to now being in the studio with Nat “King” Cole or with Pink Floyd while they are performing tracts from “Meddle”. Micro detail is enhanced. The three dimensions are greatly improved. This is the easiest upgrade to seriously improve a SaCd player that I am aware off.

I’m always up for a challenge when a manufacturer offers a money back guarantee on their product. So I contacted one of the dealers and had 4 SR fuses delivered for my Tube integrated amp, Tube CD Player and Tube power supply.
I thought my Hi-Fi Supreme fuses were the best one could buy, but boy was I wrong! Within 5 minutes of swopping out the Hi-Fi fuse with the SR, the music became more focused, cleaner and a much wider/larger soundstage. These fuses were changed one by one and every fuse added to my system made a dramatic improvement.
Typically, my choice of music is violin, cello and acoustic guitar and on every occasion the SR fuses yielded a clearer and vibrant sound to these instruments to include more body, decay and pin-point imaging within the soundstage. These fuses are super quiet with the blackest background I’ve ever heard, with details emerging far beyond the borders of the speakers with a realism that is spooky.
David is spot on with his observation, it will not take 100 hours, the improvements are immediate and will improve over the burn-in period.
