Atmosphere X Euphoria High Current Power Cables are engineered for maximum current delivery and are perfect for power hungry monoblocks, Class A amplifiers, power conditioners, and line strips. Sharing all design traits as found in the standard Euphoria X power cords save for heavier gauge, Euphoria High Current power cords have a denser sonic balance that may be preferred in some systems when used on lower current demand components. All conductors, wall and IEC connectors, shields and the same Swiss-Made power supply found in our Galileo SX power cords are then treated with our amazing Blue Fuse treatment process, and this gives Atmosphere X Euphoria a lower noise floor than is possible from the more conventional power supply and geometries found in Excite. Additionally, Euphoria’s geometry gets a boost from one more pure Silver Air String for a sound that has increased air and finesse. Another trickle-down performance upgrade from Galileo SX is the inclusion of a Ground Plane encased in the carbon fiber tube. And there’s an option to ground Euphoria’s Swiss power supply and shields to a Synergistic Research Active Ground Block, this is perhaps the most significant upgrade that dramatically reduces your system’s noise floor for increased dynamics and emotional involvement in your music. As with Galileo SX custom tuning is achieved through the use of a Gold UEF Tuning Module that adds warmth and bloom or when not connected the cable has a leaner balance. Of course, the choice of whether or not to use the Gold Tuning Module is yours, giving you the option to custom tune the sound of Euphoria to complement your system.

Each Atmosphere Level 3 Power Cable contains a Swiss-made power supply and Quantum capacitors to generates the 30 Volt DC bias necessary for Active Shielding, eliminating the need for messy external wiring and cumbersome wall warts. Performance is further enhanced by the introduction of UEF technology built into the power supply and cable shielding for an incredibly low noise floor.

The Atmosphere Level 3 Power Cables active shielding is voiced with a single Red UEF Active Circuit. Also, included is a Gold, passive UEF Tuning Module. The UEF Tuning Module is connected to the cable shields and contours the sound of your cables by changing the way your cables resonate. By altering the resonance between signal and ground conductors you take control of the sonic balance of your cables and in the process, the overall sound of your system.
The Red Active Circuit completes the Active circuit and must be in place in order to achieve the highest performance.

Atmosphere X began when we started exploring ways to improve our UEF Shielding by applying UEF Technology first developed for our BLUE Fuses to Atmosphere Series cables. By placing UEF Tech in a grid pattern on the shields of Atmosphere cables we were able to dramatically lower the noise floor with a surprising increase in musicality or the subjective enjoyment of music. We then began a painstaking double-blind 6-month trial where we would listen to seemingly identical cables marked with random alphanumeric codes to conceal differing patterns of UEF Tech inside each prototype cable and record which options elicited the strongest responses among a control group of listeners. By gauging actual emotional response, we were able to isolate grid patterns that better conveyed the essence of music. We would then build on these patterns to find additional patterns that performed better than the last. In this way, our latest shielding technology is highly evolved from anything we have ever done before with each shield pattern selected for its ability to not only lower a cable’s noise floor but to also convey a greater sense of musical enjoyment. The net result is the most advanced shielding technology we have ever developed with each model in the Atmosphere X Series gaining a special shielding pattern that best compliments the geometries of ALIVE, EXCITE and EUPHORIA.

After perfecting the most natural-sounding and holographic cables in our history, we set out to take them further with a new high voltage conditioning process that applies a sweeping frequency plot for an extended duration. We experimented with dozens of frequencies in different combinations over a prolonged time period before landing on just the right mix. We even built a new Tesla Coil to handle the excess heat generated during long conditioning sessions. Once finalized, the SRX conditioning process created holographic realism and timbrel accuracy far beyond our previous Tesla Coil conditioning protocol.

Details
Atmosphere X Euphoria takes a page from our Flagship Galileo SX power cables and incorporates the capability to ground your power cables to a Synergistic Research Active Ground Block. This ground is designed specifically and only for use with the Active Ground Block. When this ground is not plugged into an Active Ground Block connection, Atmosphere X Euphoria uses a built-in ground path similar to the original, passive SR Ground Block meaning the optional cable ground will only benefit from the Active Ground Block and its Active Electromagnetic Cell. Benefits include a noticeable increase in deep bass power and weight, a more holographic sound field, smoother high frequencies with greater extension and ‘air’, a more present and layered mid-range, increased tonal density with an apparent increase in resolution.
Note: Atmosphere X Euphoria does not include a ground plug. Grounding the optional pigtail to the wall or other ground paths will not improve the performance of the cable. It is designed only for use with the Synergistic Research Active Ground Block.

UEF Carbon Elevators lift your cables from the floor as they uplift fundamental aspects of system performance, including low-frequency weight and control, mid-range clarity, and high-frequency extension. Perhaps most dramatic is the effect on your system’s ability to portray soundstage scale with improvements in front to back, side to side, and verticle image placement, all with a greater sense of the sound field wrapping around your listening position. Our first cable elevators were made from aluminum after extensive double-blind listening tests, where aluminum exhibited superior sound quality compared to materials like plexiglass, wood, and ceramic. The one material we did not test was Carbon Fiber due to its difficulty to cut and fabricate. Fast forward two years, and we have perfected the use of carbon fiber in SR products, including our state-of-the-art SRX cable loom, Galileo Active Ground Block, Active Ethernet Switch, and MiG SX footers. So we built a set of carbon fiber elevators and compared them to our Aluminum cable risers. We found the same improvements as all SR products using carbon fiber, namely, increased resolution, inner detail, and clarity. The included HFT’s (Red Dot visible in photographs) use a new UEF compound first developed for SRX speaker cables and Purple fuses enteract with your cables EM fields for life like soundstage scale with enhanced dynamics and high-frequency extension. Of course, cable elevators are a controversial upgrade for many, so we make it easy to try a set in your system risk-free.
