We are officially announcing two new HFTs- HFT 2.0 and HFT X that take the HFT concept to exciting new levels.
The HFT 2.0 is a warmer sounding transducer and HFT X has more details and resolution and both are intended to be used in conjunction with our original HFTs.
Below is a step by step placement guide for how to install your new HFT 2.0 and HFT-X in your system.
HFT 2.0 Level 1 installation:
Place 1 HFT 2.0 on left and right sides of both speakers mid-height, adjust downward for more warmth.
Alternate view - Place 1 HFT 2.0 on left and right sides of both speakers mid-height, adjust downward for more warmth.
Place 1 HFT 2.0 on the center of front wall at low height between speakers. If applicable, move existing HFT toward the ceiling.
HFT 2.0 Level 2 installation:
Place 1 HFT on the left side of the wall, mid-height halfway between speakers and listening position. If applicable, move existing HFT toward the ceiling. Repeat same procedure on right side of the wall.
Place 1 HFT 2.0 at mid-height on the left front corner and 1 HFT 2.0 on right front corner. if applicable, move existing HFT’s toward the ceiling.
Place 1 HFT 2.0 at the center of rear wall at mid-height. If applicable, move existing HFT toward the ceiling.
Synergistic Research NEW HFT X and HFT 2.0 - High Frequency Transducers
HFT-X Level 1 Installation:
Place 1 HFT X below the tweeter of the left speaker and 1 HFT X below the tweeter of the right speaker. Replace HFT Level 1 with HFT X and move HFT Level 1 upward.
HFT-X Level 2 Installation:
Place 1 HFT X on top of each speaker.
Place 1 HFT X in the center of the rear wall, mid-height from the floor.
